Dr. Aliya Turayeva, an otolaryngologist affiliated with Dom Zdorovya Hospital in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, was selected for the overseas medical personnel domestic training program conducted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and the Ministry of Health and Welfare. She underwent medical training at the Yeson Voice Center from August 4 to September 21.
The purpose of this medical training program is to enhance international recognition of Korea's excellent medical technology, expand the overseas network of Korean medical institutions, and select specialists from various countries with lower levels of medical care to pass on advanced medical technology in Korea under national support. The goal is to establish a new medical network with these countries.
Through this program, Dr. Aliya from Kazakhstan was selected to learn the latest medical technology, diagnostic techniques, treatment methods, and clinical systems related to laryngology at the Yeson Voice Center. During the training period, she observed vocal feminization surgery, removal of laryngeal papillomas, and acquired various voice management programs at the Yeson Voice Center, including objective and professional voice assessments for voice professionals such as actors, singers, teachers, and announcers.
Dr. Aliya stated, "Through this training program, I was able to learn the examination systems and medical technology of Yeson Voice Center, which are at a global level. I will make efforts to utilize this knowledge to assist patients in Kazakhstan who lack advanced medical technology." She expressed gratitude to the Korean government and Director Kim Hyung-tae of the Yeson Voice Center for providing this opportunity.
