The novel “Iye” is based on the history recorded in the “Sejeong Shilok geography.” It empathized the efforts made by the professor “I-Ye” saving 667 Joseon captives’ life and stabilized the relationship between Joseon and Japan. They were admired by the cutting-edge systems and technologies of Yeson and discussed the ways to hold the voice management for the Japanese actors and actresses.
