At Nanjing Dong-In Yeson Voice Center in China in conjunction with Yeson Voice Center in Korea has opened a festival on Sat, Apr 16th under the theme of ‘Explore your voice.’ This festival was aimed at celebrating the World Voice Day and free consultation and examination were held as part of events.
World Voice Day has its root since 1998 to advertise the importance of the voice, which was investigated through the studies of psychology, music, art and so forth. This day is being celebrated among 60 different countries including Korea and China this year.
With the aid of 16 media companies participated during the festival, Yeson Voice Center took the advantage of widely providing information with regards to Vocal Folds Shortening and Retrodisplacement of Anterior Commissure (VFSRAC) which was invented and practiced by Yeson Voice Center to feminize one’s voice. The local media center in China has praised this surgery technique and the medical charity program available in Yeson Voice Center.
“Voice is as important as air and water but many people are unaware of their voice problems,” Dr. Kim said. “Through this festival, I hope all audience could get to understand the importance of voice and especially the patients with laryngeal disease may have got useful information with regards to the treatment options available for them.”
