On May 26 th , the 5 th KAVPA symposium organized by Yeson Voice Center was held at Konguk University. KAVPA is the association gathered with the goal of developing the performing art of Koreaby systemizing the theory and training the artists and professors.
The theme of the Symposium this time was ‘finding solutions for the performing art – the performing art in the past and now.’ In the form of lectures and Masterclass Symposium started firstly with the lecture of professor Kim Jung-kwon from Seoul National University followed by the professor Kim Choeljoon from Hanyang University, the professor Ryu mi-ran from Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Art, the professor Kim Jung from Sangmyung University and the voice actor Eom Sung-woo with various topics such as Musical Theory and practice, Animation dubbing, etc.
Many participants and visitors were students of practical music, potential singers, ENT specialists and so forth and they found this Symposium very helpful by learning and practicing the given theory.
