Dr. Gavkhar Khaydarova from Uzbekistan has completed her education at Tashkent Medical Academy located in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan was given a chance to take part in the medical internship program organized by KHIDI and the ministry of health and welfare from May 11 th to June 29 th for 7 weeks at Yeson Voice Center. The aim of this program is to promote the advanced medical technology and system of Korea by educating and giving the chance to experience the advanced medical service available.
During the program, Dr. Gavkhar could participate in the observatory sessions for all laryngeal types of surgeries including the surgeries to treat vocal nodule, cyst, voice feminization surgery, laryngeal papillomatosis surgery, sulcus vocalis en so forth. Before the operation, since the accurate diagnosis is in need she could also attend all voice examination sessions and voice therapy sessions. Dr. Gavkhar has said, “I highly appreciate all the staff for their endless support for me to adapt well to this new environment. All I’ve seen and experienced were very helpful and impressive. Based on the knowledge I gained, I would try my best to be the one who could develop the medical standard of my country.”
