On the last 26th, the 23rd Sung-Jung National Music Contest was held under the title of ‘Winner concert’ at Onnuri Art hall located in the province of Kyung-gi and two students named Woo-rim, Go and Ye-lin, Han were granted of Yeson Music Award. This music contest organized by Sung-Jung Cultural Institution and sponsored by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Suwon province was graded ‘A’ for the consecutive 4 years by the government in the areas of Performance and Art Competition Contest. The total number of 1031 people has took part in this contest in the six areas of classical singing, piano, violin, cello, flute and clarinet and made the cost more competitive among the participants to be selected as the best candidates for the award. Since 2009, Yeson Voice Center is awarding ‘Yeson Music Award’ along with scholarship to the top 2 high school participants in order to contribute to the development of national music, culture and art industry. Dr. Hyung-tae Kim, the director of Yeson Voice Center delivered his message saying, “Hopefully this moment could be the base for your developing career as the best classical singer.”
