Dr. Hyung-Tae Kim was invited to the 24th WPATH Biennial Symposium in Netherland from June 17th to June 21st and presented his research finding he has investigated for the last 12 years with regards to the Vocal Folds Shortening and Retrodisplacement of Anterior Commissure surgery. In this 24th WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) Symposium, it has dealt with many themes such as the transsexual’s health, social issues, human right, related treatment and so forth. Dr. Hyung-Tae Kim, the director of Yeson Voice Center, has presented his research finding he has studied over the last 12 years with regards to the ‘Vocal Folds Shortening and Retrodisplacement of Anterior Commissure.’ Many of the professionals overseas who attended this Symposium showed interest in his presentation and highly praised this surgery in terms of its unique and advanced technique which can feminize one’s voice permanently without inducing any scars both on the neck skin and on the vocal folds tissues.
