Yegor, a 5-year-old child, who had been suffering from Laryngeal Papillomatosis finally could go back home with a good result after surgery performed through the support of 2014 Medical Charity Program.
He was firstly diagnosed with this laryngeal disease when he was only 9 months old. When he reached the age of 2, he started having a breathing problem leading to the tracheotomy to get rid of that problem. Due to the characteristic of laryngeal papilloma which is highly recurrent he had to go through surgeries about 23 times. The only news he was informed was he would have difficulty breathing without a tube in his entire life. The more he received the treatment, the more he and his parent had been losing their hopes until the last year when he could receive the Laryngeal Papiloma Surgery with Yeson Voice Center. After the first surgery at YVC, laryngeal papilloma was completely removed making it possible to remove the tube he had on his trachea for respiration and make sound.
Olena Moskalenko, Yegor’s mom, was burst into tears and thanked all the staff at Yeson for such a miracle that his son could talk with his own voice. Now Yegor can breathe and talk on his own which makes YVC to be willing to continue the Medical Charity in order to get all the lovely children’s fruitful life back.
