[Medical Observership Completed at Yeson Voice Center – Dr. Lee Oh Hyeong from Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital]
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Lee Oh Hyeong from Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital successfully completed his medical observership at Yeson Voice Center in August 2026.
Throughout his training, Dr. Lee had the opportunity to observe a variety of specialized laryngeal and voice-related procedures, including Voice Feminization Surgery (VFSRAC), laryngeal papilloma surgery, and vocal fold mucosal flap surgery. He also observed advanced techniques for laryngeal botulinum toxin injections, as well as comprehensive voice evaluation protocols used to assess and manage the vocal conditions of professional voice users, including singers, actors, teachers, and announcers.
In addition to surgical observation, Dr. Lee was introduced to Yeson Voice Center’s specialized approach to voice management and rehabilitation, including structured postoperative voice care and rehabilitation programs designed to support functional voice recovery and improvement.
Since 2011, Yeson Voice Center has welcomed medical professionals from Korea and various countries around the world through its observership and medical training programs. These programs have provided opportunities for continuous academic exchange, clinical observation, and knowledge sharing among voice specialists and medical professionals. Through these ongoing educational initiatives, Yeson Voice Center has contributed to the internationalization of Korean healthcare and was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI).
We sincerely appreciate Dr. Lee Oh Hyeong for his active participation and enthusiasm throughout the observership. We hope that the knowledge and clinical experience gained during his time at Yeson Voice Center will contribute meaningfully to his continued development and practice in the field of voice and laryngeal medicine.
