From August 11th to 18th, Yeson Voice Center held a master class at the “University Medical Center” in Astana, Kazakhstan.
This is the 4th time Yeson Voice Center has attended the Master Class and about 10 doctors have attended both of the surgical
and treatment sessions managed at Kazakhstan's "University Medical Center."
The surgery was performed on patients who had severe diseases that could not be treated in Kazakhstan, and the treatment was explained through various cases of vocal cord diseases to prevent misdiagnosis.
The serious disease for which surgery was performed is ‘pediatric laryngeal papilloma’, an incurable disease that causes bumpy warts on the larynx and causes breathing difficulties in severe cases and frequent recurrences.
A total of 14 surgeries were performed, two of which were performed through medical sharing.
Most of the patients had widely spread papillomas in the larynx, invaded the upper airway, had severe breathing difficulties, and were in a very serious condition due to frequent recurrence.
In addition to surgery, we directly treated about 20 patients suffering from laryngeal papilloma, helping them understand the treatment process and treatments in special areas.
In addition, lectures were given on information and response methods for recurrence of laryngeal papillomas, and treatment methods for laryngeal papillomas and vocal cord stenosis.
Dr. Hyung-tae Kim said, “University Medical Center Corporate Fund was large in size, but the overall medical environment and medical technology needed to be developed, and there was also a shortage of microlaryngeal surgery equipment, so the equipment and medicines needed for the surgery had to be transported directly from Korea. He said, “I am happy that through Master Class medical activities, I can spread Korea’s advanced medical technology and that many patients are able to regain their health and become completely cured.”
Meanwhile, this medical activity was vividly conveyed to the people of Kazakhstan through the news of Khabar 24, a channel among Kazakhstan's information channels with an extensive network of local and international correspondents.
